Ever wonder how to work your way up from your “going nowhere and slow” website and small apartment? Yeah, blogging is the key, right? One recycled tech post after another really is what this world needs… No, you are making money for the sites where you stole your original king content. Nobody knows you, nobody follows you and everybody sees your news first somewhere else and still you blindly trust to the king Content (copy pasted) to deliver your salvation. Now, what can you do?
SUIT UP!
Hate to shout out loud right off the bat (not really), but there is really no other industry but finance (and pimps) that relies solely on appearance and image in getting their message to the market. They have nothing but their wits and connections to work their money making magic (we’ve all seen how that can go bad so you’d better keep your wits day and night). How they convince their prospects depends on how they play out those two assets, this is why all those fancy offices, suits, cars, PowerPoint slides and girls (secretaries, you know). High profile looks are fabricated on purpose to back up their real money making assets - information.
STEAL A LESSON
Learn from the best, first you need to post at least half straight and something that not everybody has. Look what other people are doing, they are basically recycling posts from other sources. Create something new, no matter how silly, at least you have something that others don’t. This is a good start to position yourself on web. As a personal note, I’d rather see you interviewing a sheep about iPhone than post about that worn out iPhone press photo and specs, because those sheep just won’t jump on your face from every second blog, but iPhone photos will.
